Oh HEY!! I'm an arborist consultant, business strategy & programs designer, and mom of 4, who loves turning big ideas into practical, meaningful outcomes. For more than 15 years, I helped build A Plus Tree, LLC (aplustree.com), leading sustainability programs, plant health care programs, marketing & branding, client facing sales & strategy, and tech design. We expanded over fortyfold, from a small local operation to a major, multi-state company. Soon after it's acquisition in 2023, I shifted into consulting and still work mainly with A Plus, supporting strategic initiatives, program development, and long-term vision. One of my most meaningful achievements has been directing a four-year urban biochar pyrolysis project. The project unlocked a regulatory breakthrough and helped lay the foundation for future urban biochar deployment across all urban cities in the US. I also serve as Board Chair of the California Urban Forests Council (caufc.org), where I help guide statewide urban forestry strategy, foster cross-sector partnerships, and support programs that bring equitable canopy and community connection to California cities. My work extends into design and construction as well: as part owner of The Gaskin Group, my husband's renovation and construction company, I support the business side and provide our clients with conceptual designs. Beyond consulting and business leadership, I'm a daycare owner, and a creative who can’t help but make stuff. Other than constantly crafting with my kids, I do digital creation, AI imaging, video editing, and I’ve recently begun building personalized, multicultural children’s books — a passion project rooted in belonging and representation. Community work is also a core part of who I am. I stay connected through tree planting events, leading Tree Tours, and doing fun school presentations. Everything I do comes back to connection: building programs that serve communities, designing stories that reflect identity, shaping strategies that help build businesses.
